Partnership Coffees
We are grateful that our work enables us to engage in partnerships with like-minded farmers, customers, and non-profit organizations. Since 1985, when we introduced "Coffee For Peace" as a means to support the farmers of Nicaragua during their revoluation we have sought out collaboration with many other social, environmental, and economic justice oriented non-profit organizations. Our purpose is to use coffee as an educational tool and fundraiser and to enable coffee lovers to "vote with their dollars" by purchasing coffees which embody a caring approach to the business of business. To date our efforts have raised $220,000 for our U.S. partners and an additional $250,000 through profit sharing for our coffee cooperative partners in Peru, Guatemala, Mexico, Uganda, Nicaragua, and Rwanda. We engage in business with an emphasis on trust and transparency and forge partnerships that bring us closer together as a global community.
