Since 1985, when we introduced "Coffee For Peace," we have sought
out collaboration with many other social, environmental, and
economic justice oriented non-profit organizations. Our purpose is
to use coffee as an educational tool and fundraiser and to enable
coffee lovers to "vote with their dollars" by purchasing coffees
which support some fantastic projects around the world. To date our
efforts have raised $220,000 for our U.S. partners and an
additional $250,000 through profit sharing for our coffee
cooperative partners in Peru, Guatemala, Mexico, Uganda, Nicaragua,
and Rwanda.
